If you missed last week’s post, I teamed up with Union Jack Boots to share how I style white sneakers for spring. We talked daytime workwear last week, and now I’m back with a date night outfit.
If a blazer and jeans is my go-to daytime outfit, it’s evening partner in crime is all black. Nothing makes me feel more chic than black on black on black…with pops of red and white. It’s so fun to play with casual & dressed up items. I love the look of Vans with dresses and skirts…total cool-girl vibe (which I assure you does not come naturally to me). Union Jack Boots has an endless supply of cute sneakers, so if you’re in the market for a new pair (or two…or five…) for spring, be sure to check them out!
Even though Stef and I didn’t go out after this shoot (back inside for homemade tacos. Rock on.) it was kind of nice to be dressed up for a night in. Having a long term boyfriend makes it easy to throw on sweats and flop upside down on the couch while watching Kimmy Schmidt…sometimes I forget how nice it is to look cute for each other. Maybe I’ll start dressing up for at-home date nights more often!
