It’s here…BLOGMAS! I can’t wait to blog every (week) day in December and get in the holiday spirit!
After this weekend, I figured it would be appropriate to kick things off with some Christmas baking! I spent my Saturday afternoon baking Christmas cookies with my boyfriend’s sister, and it got me SO excited for Christmas…it also reminded me why I should leave baking up to the professionals; see above, where I had to weld the head of my gingerbread man back onto his body. We used a Holy Grail recipe to make our sugar cookies (Martha Stewart, obv) and the simplicity and deliciousness of these cookies got me in the mood to bake all kinds of treats this holiday season. I am far from a baker, but I am always down to try something new and create something unconventional…in this case, some unique Christmas cookies! With that in mind, here are a few recipes (from Pinterest, also obv) that I can’t wait to try this month. I will report back with successes/failures (most likely the latter). Bake on!
