I am HELLA excited for Christmas and am losing my mind over the fact that it’s tomorrow, but as soon as this magical day is over, another wildly exciting night is waiting in the wings: New Year’s Eve. I love the idea of New Year’s…aka getting dressed up and having a few (too many) drinks with friends.

…buuuuut let’s get real, I should probably be social and ring in the new year with other people (and at the very least, stay up to see the clock strike 12). That said, I am very much a magpie at heart: shiny things just call to me. I’ve had my eye out for snazzy things to wear for New Year’s, and have been overwhelmed with ideas. Sequins, sparkles, and dresses are classic, and it’s also exciting to play with options like lace, metallics, and playsuits. Here are a few of my favourite pieces to inspire you for New Year’s.
