Spring To-Do List

Okay, y’all. Real talk.

I’ve been basically slacking at life lately.

As soon as I get busy, any structure I one had goes flyyyyying out the window. Groceries and healthy food? Nope. Exercise? Yeah right. General productivity? SEE YA. Someone please teach me the art of balance. I’ve had a cold this past week on top of rehearsals, work meetings, and a few events that required tickets and I couldn’t get out of. Granted I had the BEST time (I saw 2 musicals and went to a fundraiser dinner. SO FUN) but it was a real blow to my life structure.

I LOVE my blog. And I love the process of shooting, writing, and promoting my posts. But it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed if I can’t make the time. Okay, maybe “won’t” make the time…if I really wanted to, I could stay up until 1am creating. But I like sleep waaaay more. And I need to understand that it’s okay. I’ll put 110% into what I can do, and hopefully I will take it more seriously as time goes on…but for now, I’m having fun and working hard, and that happiness will trickle down into my blog. YAAASSSS, SELF REFLECTION.

Daylight Savings Time is this weekend…majorly bittersweet. Again, I like my sleep. But more sunlight! YAY! I always complain that I don’t have enough time to take blog photos after work. Summer is the BEST, because there’s more than enough time when I get home from work to shoot blog posts. I’m sure I’ll come up with another excuse once summer hits, but for now I’m super excited for the day that I can spread out my blog work throughout the week.

I wanted to share my Spring To-Do List. As always, I love looking back and seeing what I was able to cross off, and what I did that I hadn’t even thought of. This spring is already looking like a bright & fun time, so I can’t wait to get started.

I’m going to: train for the 10k; pick a different area of my condo every weekend and gooo tooo tooown on cleaning; get #cultured, since I’ve never been to the ROM; plan a bestie trip with Kathleen (comin’ for ya, Jess!); and try to avoid sugar and processed food. This spring is all about happiness and bettering myself! Super positivity, here I come.
