Story time.
Stefan, supportive and wonderful boyfriend that he is, got me a 35mm lens for Christmas! Woohoo! Not quite the Canon since it costs a million dollars, but the idea is that I can see if I like it before investing. ANYWAYS, we thought “hey let’s go outside and take some pics and play with the lens.” Only problem is…….the lens was blurry. We were all so confused and playing with all kinds of settings, but nothing worked. We ended up switching back to my 50mm to take these photos.
Fast forward to this morning, after a night of being frustrated with this stupid piece of technology. I decided to YouTube a review video of this thing, since everyone seems to think it works just fine. While watching the unboxing, I see the person peel off one plastic film from the lens…and then a second one…wait what?
THERE ARE TWO PLASTIC FILMS.
Idiot Carly only peeled the plastic off of one side of the lens. LOL. Works like a charm now. Thanks Stef!
Our Christmas is pretty casual, but Nik and I still like to get a bit dressed up just for kicks. Nikki usually goes au natural and doesn’t wear a ton of makeup…when she does, it’s almost unfair to stand next to her. Girl is stunning. No one else can pull off wild haircuts like she can! Please note that I doooo not condone smoking nor do I accept the fact that Nikki does so…but Stefan took a gorgeous picture of her exhaling and I just had to include it!
