Hellllllooooooooooooooo spring! Even though this weather is doing a number on my health, it feels so good to not be freezing to death. Now all I need is some colour, because I am feeling all kinds of pale…I’m practically my own light reflector when taking photos.

Stefan and I spent Saturday at the Ontario Science Centre…omg, you guys. I hadn’t been there since high school, and I forgot how freaking cool it is. First of all, being there kept bringing back crazy flashbacks from the last time I visited. It was like one big deja vu and it was WEIRD. But otherwise, it was so fun to act like kids and learn about sciencey stuff. Granted, it’s probably a LOT more fun for young’uns (so many cool hands-on demonstrations) but we made the most of our time. Nothing like a wooly mammoth skeleton to send me spiralling into 6-year-old mode. I’m a history nerd, what can I say?

Despite the insane wind, we managed to enjoy the sun and take some photos. I’m not kidding about the wind…I tried to get in the car, and Stefan had to push my door open from the inside. I thought I was going to be decapitated when getting in the car. DRAMATIC. But I did live to tell the tale.

I whipped out a few of my old faithfuls for this outfit…the perfect suede booties, my comfiest jeans, and a shockingly spacious clutch. All of these closet staples came together to complement my new toy: this Anthropologie silk scarf (which is unfortunately sold out…luckily, silk scarves are easy to find!) My girl Jess has completely converted me. She is always rocking super cute silk scarves, and I was dying to try one out for myself. Obviously I jacked her style and paired it with stripes! #FrenchGirlChic. Mixing prints still kind of freaks me out, but I’m learning to step out of my comfort zone (aka black on black on black).

What do you think? Be sure to check out Jess’ blog for more scarf inspiration…and basically all other kinds of style inspo.
