Now that I’ve been getting into baking and cooking more often, I’m hoping to post some of my favourite recipes that I come across on my blog. I’ll always remember when I got my first tattoo. Around my 18th birthday, my best friend and I grabbed another one of our friends and set out to get impromptu “rebellious” tattoos. My first ink was a treble clef with a peace sign on my wrist and while far from hardcore, it was addictive; I was obsessed with the idea of having art on me forever. I needed to share these little guys with you! My sister got pet rats and I am absolutely obsessed. They’re named Dorian and Clover, and I am in love! We always had hamsters growing up and my family loves animals, so when my sister said she wanted rats, there was no hesitation! I have to say I’m pretty jealous of her fuzzy friends. I didn’t realize how smart rats are, but these little guys are flipping clever. It’s so entertaining watching them scamper around and lick Nikki’s fingers.
