On The Hunt: Work Skirts

As I am turning into a responsible and mature adult (lol) I’m realizing what kind of clothing is worth the splurge, and what I can cut back on. No, Carly, you do not need more sweaters. You do, however, need some work appropriate skirts.

I love wearing skirts to work, especially in the summer. It forces me to shave my legs (TMI?) and makes me feel a little more put together. I have found myself lacking in the modest skirt department: not that I have a wardrobe full of skirts that show my butt, but they definitely would draw unwanted side-eyes at the office. The problem with being 99% legs is that even mid-length skirts can be too short (and to avoid sounding “woe is me”, remember that in my case all legs means NO TORSO. I digress.)

I’ve been prowling the internet looking for skirts that I can wear to work, and I’m loving what I’ve found. I’ve chosen a few different styles I’m into and found 3 price points for each: save, spend and splurge. Let’s get real, I’ll more likely be looking in the “save” category…but it sure is fun to look at the “splurge” section and drool. Happy hunting!
