My dad instilled in me a love of furniture and decorating. I used to tease him for his countless trips to Homesense etc. for new household trinkets, but now that I’m older I realize that I am my father’s daughter. Having my own place means a blank slate…I’ve been able to decorate however I want, which means sharks EVERYWHERE (I’m watching Shark Week as we speak). Being a grown-up sucks like 80% of the time, but there are a few simple pleasures to be found; few things make me as relaxed and happy as beautiful things around my home. I’d say my decor aesthetic is classic, feminine and cozy, with a hint of nerdiness. Here are a few of my favourite details so far in my new condo.
