Happy freaking Friday!!!
This week has been a WEEK. I was in tech for my play (we opened! Yay!) which means I went to work all day and then went to the theatre to rehearse all night…I haven’t seen Stefan’s face in what feels like eternity. Sorry Stef! Let’s just say I am SO excited to sleep in tomorrow and finally get some laundry done. Oh, and eat something not sold at Freshii or Starbucks.
Shockingly, I found a moment to shoot some photos with my sister and give them the ol’ Lightroom treatment! I’ve been doing a little bit too much shopping lately (oops) and have so many fun things in my closet that I want to share with you.
(PS, thank God it’s Black Friday weekend…..a lot of these things are on sale!)
Let’s review, shall we?
MY NEW OBSESSION. Madewell. I can’t stop. When my bestie Kathleen and I went to New York last month, we went to the store no less than 3 times…Canadians gone wild. I had ordered my Transport Tote online a few months before thanks to constant recommendation by Jess (what else is new), so I knew I would love the brand. Visiting the store was like a shopaholic dream come true. I picked up this cozy beanie and perfect every day t-shirt on visit #1 and have hardly taken them off since I put them on. PS you can get the Transport Tote on sale at Shopbop…it is SO worth the purchase – it holds my entire life!
Next up? The best cardigan I’ve found in a while. I love Lole for their activewear, but had never really taken a look at their casual apparel. This cardigan is thick (but not TOO thick), long (covers ze bum) and is the perfect fall/winter shade of green. It’s a favourite of mine to wear with leggings, due to the aforementioned bum coverage. You can get this one sans HST at Sporting Life!
Speaking of leggings, these faux leather ones are probably the most worn item in my closet. My voice teacher comments on it frequently. I just love how comfy and chic they are!!! I know there are 1001 pairs on the market, but my favourite pair is the Daria Pant from Aritzia. Also on sale…just might have to grab a back-up pair…
Last but certainly not least is not a new purchase, but one of my fall faves. Considering the Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots cost $10000000 (an accurate figure), I spotted this pair at Aldo last season and snatched them up. They stay up for the most part (HALLELOO) and look so incredibly cute with jeans, leggings, skirts, etc. They are still available at The Bay, and are MEGA on sale. Can’t recommend enough!!!
