Every Day Makeup

Ladies and gents…she’s back! I needed to take a week to collect myself and reboot. I was feeling pretty uninspired and lethargic…but I’m back, y’all! I have a bunch of content planned for the next little while, and I’m hoping I’m out of this rut for the foreseeable future! Now back to business…

I love seeing what other people put on their face, so I figured I’d show you guys what I put on my face. This is the makeup I wear pretty much every day…I’ll switch up my blush every once in a while or wear some eyeshadow and eyeliner, but for the most part, that’s all folks!

I go back and forth on a regular basis whether I like foundation or not. At the moment, I am pro-cake face! JK, please apply with caution. This Covergirl 3-in-1  foundation (recommended to me by my friend Nicole) is awesome and gives flawless coverage all day. In terms of concealer, this is my dynamic duo. I apply the Maybelline Age Rewind Brightener under my eyes with my ring finger, and then apply the Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous concealer with a beauty blender to any blemishes as well as on my dark circles. I am part vampire, so I really need the coverage!

Looking shiny is one of my least favourite things, and this Revlon Photo Ready translucent powder keeps that in check. It’s pretty great, I definitely recommend it. My bronzer of choice is the Rimmel Natural Bronzer…I use it to give the illusion of angles, since my face has none!  The Amour blush by NARS is probably my favourite blush of all time…it’s super pigmented, so be cautious not to end up looking like a clown (or a hooker, your choice).

I’m in a no-eyeliner phase, and I’m liking it. It gives me a more natural look, and makes it look more dramatic when I do choose to wear eyeliner. As per usual, I can’t just use one product…I need to layer up! I use Gifted by Tarte as a base layer, and then apply 1-2 coats of Benefit’s They’re Real. Result? Never need to wear falsies again.

This lipstick, though. Perfection. Revlon’s Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie. It’s a deep berry/red, sheer yet pigmented, and fades out as opposed to drying out and ending up patchy. I’ve been wearing this on and off for years, and I am definitely in an “on” period. I love how this colour is a more natural version of a classic fall shade.
