Amazing long weekend…check!
Happy belated Easter to those who celebrate, and I hope you all had time to recharge and hang with your loved ones. Obviously I spent the weekend playing with dogs (shocking) and attempting to catch up with cleaning, laundry and life. I even meal prepped for the week, and I feel oh-so productive. OH, and I had some friends over for a Cards Against Humanity night…and we managed to play until 4am. WHO AM I. WHAT HAVE I BECOME. If it weren’t so fun, I’d be seriously questioning my sanity.
Stef and I spread out our Easter celebrations over the weekend…my family went for lunch on Saturday, and we headed to Stefan’s grandparents for a late lunch on Sunday. It finally warmed up juuuust enough to throw on my new chambray dress from the Gap. I texted my mom immediately after I bought it, informing her that I truly am her daughter…the woman owns more chambray dresses than anyone ever should. It’s super comfy and makes me feel like a grown-up, so I’m into it.
ALSO, if you follow me on Instagram then you know that I finally caved on the lace up flat trend. I loooooove them! This pair wasn’t too pricey and they are incredibly comfortable. I just might need to pick up another colour or two (and by might, I mean definitely will). To get in the spring spirit, I finished ‘er off with this bright scarf that my friend Jen got me a few years ago. It turned out to be the perfect pastel accessory for Easter!
