Surprise! 2 posts in one week! This is madness. Madness, I say!

In all seriousness, I’m trying to take a more laid-back approach to this whole blogging thing. Especially since my day job is now all about social media and I’m helping with the marketing for my theatre company, I don’t want The Clydescope to become work as well. My blog is my safe space, and my fun hobby that brings me joy. The last thing I want is to start resenting it!

The nice thing is that my friends are starting to catch on that they can help me out with “blog worthy” things…shoutout to my bestie Kathleen for getting me 2 birthday cards; one that was funny and suited our friendship, and one that was beautiful and would look pretty in photos. She just gets me.

Stefan also gets it; our trip to Stratford was picture perfect and turned out to be the best blog getaway (without being a designated blog getaway ;).) Earlier this week I mentioned that Stef took me to see A Chorus Line…again, it was a beautiful production. The theatre is my favourite place on earth, and one thing I love about it is getting to dress up.

Since it was 1,000,000 degrees, pants probably weren’t the best choice. I was sweating, but what else is new. These joggers were too cute to pass up! Since I wear this kind of outfit all the time, I wanted to dress it up a bit: enter my tried-and-true heels that I wore to prom…I’m still getting my money’s worth, 6 years later.

Between the gorgeous sunlight and the Shakespearean Garden, this photo shoot was short & sweet and turned out just the way I wanted. As always, thank you to Stefan for putting up with my direction while posing…you’re a trooper!
