Blooms & Neutrals…Spring Has Sprung!

This week has been one for the books. The big news is…I got a new job! I’m officially the social media specialist for my company. BLOGGING FINALLY PAID OFF! I’m so excited to do what I love all day long and use the skills that I’ve developed while building my blog (admittedly through trial and error). Hopefully the two are mutually beneficial, and the creative juices start flowing for my personal content!

I am pretty proud of myself as this marks 3 weeks in a row of weekly posts. It feels good to put out consistent posts, even if they aren’t as frequent…quality over quantity, my friends! It ain’t much, but it’s a start.

Aside from work, I’m so insanely happy that spring has sprung. The world is prettier, I don’t need a coat, and most importantly: the sun stays out past 6pm! I wasn’t planning on shooting a fashion post this week, but I liked my outfit at work and I couldn’t say no to this beautiful afternoon. I’m trying to get myself into the habit of creating content, even when things go wrong (i.e. my hair was in a messy ponytail and I didn’t love the backdrop). It’s funny how things work out…on the walk home, we found some gorgeous blooming trees. Those photos turned out to be my favourites!

I “borrowed” this sweater from my mom, and it has easily become my favourite item of clothing over the past few weeks. Uniqlo sure knows what they’re doing! Neutrals are apparently my new thing, because my current go-to accessories are these nude flats and blush purse. It’s the little things that are making me feel put together and chic!

Enjoy this stunning spring weather…get outside and find your own gorgeous spring blossoms!
