I often receive some lovely gift cards for Christmas or my birthday, and every year the same feeling overwhelms me; for some reason, I feel like I have to go out and use it IMMEDIATELY. I don’t know what comes over me…something about the ability to buy stuff gets me super excited. Realistically, it leads to impulse spending and wasting free money at some of my favourite stores.
I realized that it would be smart to keep a list of things I want at the ready…that way when a gift card shopping spree presents itself, I will be prepared to buy products that I actually had my eye on. Hopefully this prevents me from buying another cardigan or neutral eye shadow, but I can’t make any promises. Let’s start with what I’m in the market for to make me look pretty!
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, $20 I am the least patient when it comes to waiting for my nails to dry, and my nails chip like there’s no tomorrow. Lauren Conrad swears by this stuff, so obviously I have to give it a try.
Kiehl’s Eye Alert, $32 We all know I have a severe issue with dark circles under my eyes. I’ve heard marvellous things about this eye treatment from Kiehl’s, so let’s give it a go.
boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge, $19 Along with the boscia Cleansing Oil, I’ve been meaning to dive into these products. My skin has been freaking out on me, so why not buy into the charcoal trend and try this sponge?
Fresh Sugar Face Polish, $72 This little guy costs a pretty penny, but I would absolutely spend someone else’s money on it. Along with the Fresh Body Polish, these fresh scrubs scream renewed skin…sign me up!
