Bar Cart Inspo

I’ve come to realize that over the past year, I have done little to no interior design in my apartment. Yeah, I have some cool pieces and it looks relatively put together, but nowhere NEAR the gorgeous pictures I’m constantly pinning on Pinterest. This summer I’m determined to make my apartment feel like the home I covet on social media! The major change I’m looking into is a paint overhaul (more on that later), but in the meantime I’m thinking of small, easy ways I can elevate my living space.

The first thing that comes to mind? My bar cart! I love having people over for drinks, and I also love finding unique glasses to add to my collection (like these ones my sister got me for Christmas!) I spent months upon months looking for the perfect bar cart for my space; I finally found it at Target (RIP). It’s ideal for my apartment in every way; the wood goes well with my cabinets, it has wheels, and it’s the perfect height. However after the initial satisfaction of finding a bar cart disappeared, I kind of completely forgot to do something with it. Right now, it is a graveyard for lesser-used kitchen items; shot glasses, placemats, a corksicle (thanks dad…)

Once I complete my first project of redesigning my bar cart, I will post before and after pictures! But for now, here is some of the gorgeous bar cart inspo I’ve found on Pinterest…I’m dying to put some of these details into my own home!

Also, let me know some must-have liquors to keep on hand…right now I have a mini bottle of Crown Royal and that’s about it. Send help! Also, don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest to see where I get my inspiration.

The hues of this one are a little more similar to the cart I have, and I love how they display their corks in a cool jar; Lord knows mine would be full in a heartbeat. via Apartment Therapy
