Autumn Cravings

Aside from the odd day that is disgustingly hot (i.e. today), the chilly weather we’ve had lately has had me itching for fall. I live for fall clothes; layers, scarves, cute coats, boots…drooling. I’ve put together a little shopping list for myself of things that I want to add to my wardrobe for fall. These things are more or less staples any year, yet somehow they’ve evaded my possession. Trends never work out for me- I’m either too late to the party, they don’t suit me, or I just don’t like them. I stick to pretty classic looks with the odd fun piece thrown in, and I’m excited to add these gems to my already overflowing wardrobe.

Vampy Lipstick

Every year I try to find the perfect shade…and every year I fail. Granted, I haven’t been trying very hard. But this is the year! I will NOT forget and I WILL get my hands on a gorgeous, dark, sexxxy shade (which my boyfriend will hate).

Plaid Pants

My girl Emilie Etc. just did a whole post on plaid for fall, and I feel like a loser for posting this after her. But I really do want plaid pants! They’re so chic and special, and just edgy enough to make me feel cool without looking stupid (ed. note: I still might look stupid).

Structured Bag

The bags I carry with me are ALWAYS slouchy. Even when I think I’ve bought a structured bag, it ends up failing me and slumping over. Everything I own spills everywhere, and I’ve decided enough is enough. I need to find a super structured bag that will hold everything I own yet not be bigger than my apartment.
