Ink Obsessed

I’ll always remember when I got my first tattoo. Around my 18th birthday, my best friend and I grabbed another one of our friends and set out to get impromptu “rebellious” tattoos. My first ink was a treble clef with a peace sign on my wrist and while far from hardcore, it was addictive; I was obsessed with the idea of having art on me forever. Since that first trip to the tattoo artist 4 years ago, I’ve gotten two more tattoos and am planning my fourth. Sure, I’m not Kat Von D or any other tattoo-covered babe, but I’m still proud of my little gems. Since I’m still unsure of what my future brings career-wise, I’m cautious to keep my tattoos relatively hidden. I like them in places that I can cover if need-be. However I’m starting to run out of discrete places that I like, so who knows where my next few will end up…I think tattoos have the potential to be dainty, beautiful, and chic. Here are my current tattoo inspirations (all found on Pinterest), as well as pictures of my tattoos! ♡

I am not hip and don’t have any, but certainly understand their creative appeal. Having them hidden is smart so that it gives you options in certain professional situations.
