Week in Review

It’s been a long week of pretending to study for exams and packing my life up at school…it’s given me the opportunity to have some fun times with friends and pick up some new weekly favourites! I decided to play around with the layout of Week in Review…let me know what you think. ♡

Song

This week was full of procrastination and writing essays at the last minute…this playlist was my saving grace! I loved every song, and it seriously helped me relax while shoving politics into my brain.

Three Hours of Studying

Food

Drinks count as food, right? Refresher from Dianne’s Fishbar in Kingston…SO delicious!

Beauty

1. Essie Nail Polish: Mojito Madness, Borrowed & Blue, Muchi Muchi, Meet Me at Sunset
We had some great weather this week, so naturally I felt inclined to add to my spring nail polish collection. It all started because I wanted to pick up a new light pink polish, and I went a tad overboard…they’re all just so beautiful! My personal favourite is “Meet Me at Sunset”…it looks great on my toes.

2. Victoria’s Secret PINK Sweet & Flirty Body Mist
I wore this body spray every day when I was in first year, and I rediscovered it this week. It brings back some great memories, and I love how fresh and light it smells.

3. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Brightening Concealer
I’m always looking for a concealer that covers up my insane under eye circles (genetics, lack of sleep, allergies…you name it, my dark circles are caused by it). I’ve fallen in love with this product…it does exactly what it promises, even when I’m running low on sleep (due to my current obsession with 24 on Netflix…)

4. Tangle Teezer
I have heard nothing but good things about the Tangle Teezer hair brush. I finally got one at Urban Outfitters and I am impressed! It can be used on wet and dry hair, and is gentle on my locks.

Pinterest Finds

1. I LOVE this décor! I’m moving into a new apartment, so I’m all about home pins.
2. If only this were socially acceptable…
3. Hilarious teacups like these available on Etsy.
4. I LOVE this top from ASOS! The colour is gorgeous and I love open back clothing.

Memories

My housemate Riley’s room…between the lighting, the vintage map, and the stacks of nicknacks, I love how this photo turned out.

My puppy Sam fell asleep in my lap with his face on my computer.

Went for a walk on one of the warmer days this week, and snapped this stunning picture of a church near my house. The sky was SO gorgeous, and it made me so excited for spring.

I finally posted my blog on Facebook and had such a positive response from my friends. I am so blessed to know so many great people, and all of my friends on exchange made my blog stats appear quite diverse.

Happy Friday! Have an amazing weekend!
